Operator Hire
We are able to offer our clients the option of both operated plant hire and the facility to hire our operators to operate your own plant on site.
All our operators have been fully trained and have been issued with NOCN & NPORS cards – which is the main accepted proof of an operator’s competence on a UK construction site.
In addition to driving and operating machinery, operators change buckets and other attachments, maintain equipment and carry out daily safety checks. All our operators are issued with protective clothing including safety helmets, hi-visibility PPE, gloves, ear defenders and safety glasses are worn when necessary.
In addition to CPCS training we carry out task specific online training. Operational Guidance Training we currently carry out covers a host of topics including:
- Induction Process on Sites
- Safe Systems of Work & Permits
- Working with a Banksman
- Plant and Machinery
- Excavations and Trench Boxes
- Avoidance of Underground Cables
- Avoidance of Overhead Power Cables
- Safe Use of Quick Hitches
- Safe Use of Attachments & Tools
- Using an Excavator as a Crane
All operators are issued with a declaration confirming this training has been carried out.
